The sandwiches in here are to die for! Or foccacia bread, I should say (ooh, how fancy!)...
I only discovered this place relatively recently and wow do I love it! Great coffee, incredible sandwiches, lovely staff and even an ice cream counter! Win. This is a lovely little italian cafe, right in the centre of things, perfect for a lunchtime stop-off or a quick post-work treat!
There are seats inside and out - lovely for the summer months - but be warned, it is a small cafe, so don't always bank on a seat. That being said,it's right around the corner from the Pavilion Gardens, so you can always grab some lunch to go and eat it there.
The salads in here always look amazing but as soon as I tried their filled foccacia breads I couldn't buy anything else. They are packed full of flavour, with herbed, crispy bread and amazing ingredients. I love them!! It's official.
Try this place out, if you haven't already - I bet you'll love it too! -

Such a disappointment! It's got one of the best locations you could ask for in Brighton and it's so poorly looked after. The coffee was truly terrible: watery and tasteless. The quiche wasn't too bad but it was not fresh at all and the side salad must've been sitting there for who knows how long. The inside is dreadful as well. The Italian pastries were as old as the salad and clearly not made from Italian ingredients. Call me when they change management

Really not that great at all. We've seen this place a few times and really fancied an Italian style brunch so we headed here. The pastries tasted a bit off, the sandwiches looked like they'd be sitting there for days (definitely not fresh) and the coffee was abysmal! You would expect a half decent cappuccino at an Italian cafe but it was dire. Think milky water with a dash of coffee! The only thing this place has going for it is the location - right by Brighton Dome and close to the laines and all the shops.

I can't remember the postal address of this place but it's opposite the Mash Tun in New Road. Anywayzzzz, I popped in for a simple latte about half nine in the morning & what a find! Brighton is full of coffee bars but rarely do you find a guy plugged in to an amp singing lovely old Italian tunes & chatting to the customers. What an excellent vibe! He was good too. Remember this was 9.30 am!!!! Charming, smiling waitress, good coffee & good home made Italian snacks. Love it! More Qypers need to visit & support.
